My goldfish ("Nemo") looks like he's on his last fins.
I found him today gulping and floating on his side at the top of the pond in my garden.
At first I thought it was because of the sudden temperature increase, then possibly poisoning.
I recently went strimming around the garden and I think a few bits of bluebell leaves got into the pond which is quite small. Then again it could be one of those diseases they get sometimes if the water isn't quite up to scratch.
I got the pond fountain going to try and get the water oxygenated and for a short while he seemed to perk up, then later on he got slower and slower and his eyes seems to be going a bit milky. Right now he's hardly moving and I am expecting to find a 'floater' tomorrow morning :-(
Any ideas what might have caused this? He's survived for two years so far including a couple of freeze ups.

Thanks Wolf.
It sounds like a water quality problem. If you can, move him into a bucket of clean water (let temperature equalise first and use some Tap Safe to neutralise the chlorine) put the bucket somewhere quiet and dark, like a shed, for a couple of days and keep an eye on him. If he survives, you will need to clean the pond. Might be the bluebell that did it, but fermenting grass bits are bad for water quality too.
How is the goldfish this morning please?

Thanks for the answers guys and gals, he is now back to normal! Strange, but great! Maybe he is telling me I just need to do a bit of 'pond weeding' ...Which I will.
Excellent news!
A goldfish miracle. Lovely .:-)
