When trying to connect on my GX29 I get :HTTPError//: 404 Not Found. WAP settings are as per Vodafone recommendations. Vodafone advises that it cannot help as phone was purchased in Tenerife. It uses my old UK Sim card.
Can anyone help, or advise?

Have they enabled GPRS on your account? It shouldn't matter where you bought your phone, just ask them to enable GPRS.

After that, I'd suggest that you check you're using the right DNS address and Proxy address (if applicable). Try this page for a second opinion to what you've already entered.

Thanks Ralph. Vodafone claims to have registered my phone. The settings page contains a lot of useful info that Vodafone han't advised me about. i'll give it a shot and see what happens. Once again - thanks
