Of when they give bad service but to be proud of the fact you get all sorts of money off is just an Arsenal git to me.

I have complained to the BBC and other outlets running this story and shall report back on any compensation received.
My dad writes to companies to complain about a pie not having enough filling, for example. He doesn't do it just to annoy. He doesn't like being ripped off from his hard-earned money.
The other side of the coin is those people who write to manufacturers praising their products to the skies and get loads of freebies as tokens of gratitude.

I both complain when appropriate and give praise when it's due - companies appreciate feedback in order to progress in all areas.

I agree with him about mayonnaise though, the devil's vomit.
He had an eager outlet to publish his story, so who are we annoyed with?
I do think you should say something if it wrong or bad but I'm guilty of being a "it's fine" kind of person.

A friend of mine always finds fault if we are out but I find it spoils are day/meal.
Had a lovely meal out yesterday at a new country farmhouse. My warm salmon salad was delicious and very well presented, but there were no dressings available. When I asked I was offered mayo which I detest. Thought of writing to them, not so much to complain, but to point out that I may not be the only customer who likes a dressing with their salad.
