The charge of murder was brought because the act could be seen as 'significantly contributing to his death'. The jury had to decide if death could have been anticipated or intended as an outcome of the act of throwing the acid.
This happened where I live, an awful case. I hope the sentencing can reflect the incredible trauma she caused.
