Thursday. It's raining. The day out on the boat didn't happen. My mate phoned just as I was getting ready to leave to say he was unwell. So we've put it off until next Wednesday. I hope the good weather holds!
Not a lot to do elsewhere today, so domesticity rules.

Think I might go and do something with some pork and veal mince I defrosted.

Maybe large meatballs, baked smothered with crushed tomato and assorted veg.
Bit of a creamy mash to go with it.

I heard it said that rainy days happen, so that gardeners get a chance to get some housework done.

So far, it's a nice day here in Manchester and forecast to stay fine but rain overnight. Hope it stops at that cos we're doing the Saddleworth Band Contest tomorrow. My granddaughter is playing with Rochdale Youth Band.
