Good Morning Early Birds!

Friday. It's wet out. I don't mind that too much today, I'm out to lunch but rain won't matter. I'd like warm and sunny tomorrow though, I'm on duty in the CCT Visitor Centre at Saul Junction. No visitors so no fun if it's wet. My mate's wife is coming with us and we are stopping for a nosh up at The Anchor in Thornbury when I take them home. It's a very nice pub with a lovely atmosphere, the food is excellent and the service first class, the prices are very reasonable too.

Got to get the sewing machine out today,then the ironing board. I know how to have fun...but that ain't it!

rather late on parade today, but i didn't sleep all that well. tossing and turning in my sleep with the duvet all over the place. still im awake now and hoping the day is going to get better weather wise.

Not yet - I’m not all that keen on Italian but everyone wants to go so no doubt I’ll end up in there at some point.

the Castle Inn at Dirleton is quite nice - N Berwick has 3 Itais I believe, Zitto, Osteria and Cucina Amore (spelling ?) all within a stone's throw of each other.

Dirleton is lovely - I think I’ve been there as a child/teen.

think Crabwall Manor has gone downhill a bit since you were there DT... wouldn't go back..nice enough but quite tired and soulless.. in need of a spruce up !
