Epsom Derby Weekend

Another year another Oaks and Derby. I think all involved are going to be wet and warm. The crowd is liable to need buckets of water sluiced over them never mind the horses. Have had a little punt today including the Oaks and am seriously drawn to Dettori's mount in tomorrows Derby. Not often he rides for the Aga Khan and the wily Dermot Weld. The stable jockey for Weld, Pat Smullen, is currently unable to ride whilst he battles cancer but has been giving Frankie the lowdown on Hazapour. Todays vain attempt below.
Marie's Diamond @3/1 2.00
Medburn Dream @11/2 2.35
Another Touch @11/1 3.45
Forever Together @13/2 4.35(Oaks)
£1.00 E.W Acca. 6 X 30p Doubles. 4 X 30p Trebles.
Good luck if you have a look...….better get back to tying up and securing in the garden, before the rain arrives and flattens everything. "She who must be obeyed" told me to put the big umbrella up to protect the plants...…….and I laughed. The more I think about it the more like genius it looks.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, the pitfalls of backing odds on shots :-/ Wasn't going to watch the friendly footy but nothing much doing. So, for a bit of interest, i've just had a small bet on Dele Ali for the first goal. Of course Kane will probably score it but his price is always contracted.
Better luck next week, Togo :-) :-)

What I found ridiculous was the amount of cultural appropriation going on, it was quite shocking.
All those middle eastern gentlemen wearing top hat and tails! Where were their dishdash’s?
Utterly diabolical that they’re allowed to get away with wearing western clothes in the 21st century....
He said, firmly t-i-c.
