Rapid Plant Growth!!

Trees, flowers and weeds etc, all seem to be growing super fast this year. Anyone else noticed that ?.

Yes, l think everyone has noticed it. All that rain for months during the long hard winter.

We got a letter from the water asking our area to be carefule with water.

Meanwhile we have a drought over here in the east of England and most things have come to a halt. I think it last rained at Easter! I'm watering like mad, but I can hardly keep up.

The letter also says they are asking local business to be careful with water use - that would explain why fire engines have been topping up at local harbour - when there are hydrants closer to the recent major fire.

Not so much here in South because we've hardly had any rain for weeks. However everything is really late in comparison to most years.

Yes! My gardens like a jungle only because folk before us put down stupid perforated membrane before we moved in.....was broken before we could attempt to fix it.
Anyways........
So, new membrane after a fair old weedkilling, then CHUCKIED in all my borders....
This summer has brought elements of the unknown in many different ways to us in that wow the weather has definitely arranged my garden in all sense of the word....
