Bit of a long shot here - a few years ago they had a family on wanting to emigrate. She was a hairdresser and had one child - he had been married before and had other children. Can anyone remember them?

I can't track down any other programmes in the series which involved a hairdresser (other than one where it was the father who had that job).

It’s a bit hard to tell without seeing a photo but I think it’s not the Andrews family, the couple only had one small child but he had other children
I remember the woman seemed quite blasé about him leaving those behind
