Tuesday. Cloudy this morning, still warm outside. I spent the evening out the back watching the deer on the hillside while enjoying a rather nice red. Butterflies and bees all over the lavender and other flowery plants, I've no idea what their names are. There's a hedgehog taken up residence in Tiggy Towers, I don't know if it's the same one that stayed a while then left, but it's welcome. There were several sparrowhawks having fun riding the thermals, so graceful, so beautiful. I came in about midnight. A pleasent evening.
Some shoplifting this morning, and a haircut. such fun I have! :o}
I have only been to Scotland for a short holiday but a friend and I want to do a longer trip, maybe hopping around on trains and buses rather than something more structured. We have decided as they didn't have gap years when we were young we will have one when we reach 66 and get our state pensions.
good plan... you can buy a monthly bus pass and bus hop..a good way to see the country..or get a rail card..that may be the better option..not stopping at every lamp post..a senior rail card is good value !
Belated 'morning all, missed you today, was down the Country Park with the dogs before it got too hot. Landlord and Landlady of the Pub there were out on the terrace with a coffee pot, recognised me and invited me to join them, very nice it was too.
Hope everyone is fit and well.
