Our current washing machine has been in place for the last 15 or so years

We are having a new one delivered this week

My question - is the hose pipe fitting from the new machine that screws unto the water pipe likely to be the same - i.e. can I simply unscrew the old pipe from the old machine and screw on the pipe from the new machine ?

Should be able to I think they're all pretty standard, certainly that's what we did with ours although we did replace the little rubber rings inside the connection because we thought we would whilst we were doing it. x
Should be, Baz, and you shouldn't have to change any washers. (Sounds like kvalidar used the old hose.)

Thanks both

The only difference may be that your new machine is pretty certain to be cold fill only (one connection) and your old one may have had a hot water connection too.

You just leave the the tap on the hot fill pipe in the 'off' position - but I'd screw a blanking cap on as well 'just in case'.
