does anyone know if you can get free help/treatment on the NHS for a stammer ? i work on the phone all day & i've developed a stammer/mental block when answering the phone. it's only when i'm on the phone & only when i first answer , once i get going i'm fine . can anybody help ?

You could go to your GP and see if he can refer you to some time with a speech therapist? We do have them in the NHS.
