This is the first day for over a week that I haven't got to be somewhere, wait in for someone, listen out for the phone, go shopping or anything else.

I might do a bit of housework. :-)

How did my life become so busy? Is yours the same?

Mine is ridiculous at the moment, I'm all over the place and busy in very odd ways, countered by days when I don't really do anything or see anyone as man can be out from 4.00 am til 10.00pm + some days (Monday was weird and isolated as he was away all weekend and IO was totally on my own). I'm mainly doing some art and some writing, keeping up with my online businesses and chatting to friends and family here and there when I am free, but for the most part I'm hectic.
gets that way Tilly..always something to be done..people to see etc.. last night had a late visit from oh's friend..9pm ish..looking for an escape from visiting family and kids...so supper and greetin' meetin' 'till quite late... lol...

morning Kva xx
Morning Minty, or afternoon where you are :) xxx
5 ahead kva xx try and have some fun ! :0) xx
Presently my life revolves around a 7-month old baby. When I go back to work I dread to think how I'm going to juggle everything, particularly moving to a house which requires complete renovation too. God help me!

Spend the day pampering yourself and chilling out, Tills.
Is he tiring you out NoM? Bless him :)x
mine should be busy with the post house alterations clear up but dogs are getting over a tum upset so we are having a quiet couple of days letting them sleep and eat small meals and recover. The gas is appalling.

So people are as busy as me and coping in different ways.
All except Woof, who can't do much as she's wearing a gas mask! :-)

Kval, your business sound very productive. NoM, yours sounds like it will be a bit overwhelming and yours, Minty is eating and drinking!

This time last year I was in the loony bin for a couple of weeks. Thinking of giving them a ring and asking if they can fit me in again for another couple of weeks so I can have a break (and some of those awesome, relaxing drugs that they give you....)
Spent the weekend painting for a friend, Monday spent trying to catch up with my own stuff, Yesterday spent taking my mum for blood tests and shopping etc, today 6 hours at the foodbank, tomorrow another stint at the foodbank plus they've asked me to do an extra day on Monday to cover for a driver that's off and the weekend probably decorating for another friend that been on my case for a week or two (plus someone else has asked me if I can do them a bit of painting).
Its all good though. Nothing worse than sitting staring at 4 walls all day wondering what the hell to do :-)

Blimey, Nails. That's a busy life you now have. I hope these friends are paying you well for this decorating.
Best not say too much about payment on here Tills, you know how some folk get about benefit claiments trying to make ends meet with an *occasional* bit of work in the hand.
(its mates rates anyway, just enough to square up a few bills ready for the winter ones ;-) )

I wasn't asking how much, just wanted to know if you were doing it for nothing as you're such a softy. ;-)
I've got a day planned for relaxation with nothing to do.

Currently it's pencilled in for July next year but I suspect it may have to be delayed.

Aw, Hoppy! I bet you are looking forward to that. A whole day?
Quite prepared to help friends out for nothing Tills (they are my friends after all) but if they insist on giving me ''a drink'' it would be insulting not to take it. Ive had friends help me out likewise and I would feel insulted if THEY didn't take what I offered them...
Always nice to be appreciated....
LOL @ hoppy ^^
Question Author
Yes, it is nice to be appreciated, Nails. It's also nice to have friends and the ability to help them out when needed.

I found plenty to do on my lazy day today but they were things I enjoy doing, not racing around like a blue bottomed fly. :-)

And I hope that you had a really pleasant day Tills ;-)
(and more to come...)
