LED light strings are more complex than traditional ones. They probably have more wires to create different flashing patterns. Something dodgy with the connections in one could be causing centre bits to fail. May as well replace ?

I suspect that some bulbs may have blown so the circuit is not continuous but being a dinosauar I am not au fait with fairy lights on LED. The old conventional fary lights had a fused bulb in the cicuit. Sorry. Not much help. As I wrote on an earlier thread it is a throwaway society and LED string lights are not too dear to replace
Ok, there are 2 separate sets, probably 6m each.
First set misses 1st and 3rd section
Second misses 2nd and 6th section
This has happened all at once and only event (well it was a huge event at the time) is 2 jackdaws came down the chimney 5 minutes apart and went berserk crashing into everything including all round the conservatory windows.
They flew out open windows/door eventually.
