They didn't ask me any questions as to whether I had had a dog before or what sort of home he would be moving into.
He was a lovely dog with me and my family and friends but would have been dangerous with kids or nervous people (most people to be truthful).
He died when he was 14 - we had nine lovely years together.
Vetting of people who adopt dogs is important.

I would have reacted exactly the same as Tilly if I had seen this ad. Thank goodness you can communicate with them Tilly and give them some much needed advice. I personally hate crates anyway unless they are for a puppy just while he/she is being trained and for it to sleep in. A lot of people abuse crates and leave adult dogs in them for way too long.
