Is it only me, or does anyone else think that Susan Penhaligon, who plays Jean, Dawn's mother, is not very good at acting? Not to mention other times, but when she was crying in last nights episode, she looked like an amateur. I find her very wooden.

Oh thank God someone agrees with me! She's certainly lost her acting ability and that so called crying made me cringe.mata hari I reckon we could do better:-)

totaly agree with both of you ,the one who plays Terry is not so good either

I dont mind Terry tinkertom but the actor who plays Tom King sometimes overacts. He always speaks too loud for my liking but rather him than Jean! :--)

I totally agree. She is rubbish.

Also, the old bird that plays Noreen may as well just be reading from a script. She's so wooden that she's probably got dry rot.

While we are at it, Patsy Kensit has never been a very good actor and she looks ridiculous now she has had her top lip pumped up. It looks like she has been smacked in the gob.

I know it is "just pretend" but also, what is the point of Shadrach and just how many more long lost Dingles can be wheeled out without looking silly.

Mind you, the young girl that plays Jasmine is very attractive and a good actor to boot.

I'll still watch it though.

I don't like being mean about actors but goodness me, Susan Penhaligon is AWFUL. And Jean is a real nasty piece of work as well.
