Writing Questions

I was wondering whether you ever hesitate before writing anything on AB? Are there certain things you would post, but certain things you wouldn't?

Scarlett, it's a pity you feel unsure of asking some question. Ask what you want, any negative replies,,, ignore them. ( it works ) :-)

My therapist said 'Write letters to all the people who bother you and then burn them', so I did. But do I do with the letters? :)

I self moderate a lot, I tend not to want to cause offence until I do and then I really don't care, but I take some pushing to get to that point.

I've been known to start a post then abandon it as I just can't be bothered after all, or think it'd be misinterpreted, if that counts.

I don't ask many questions (my profile shows otherwise but there's a reason for that) - I more than likely give a lot away in my replies about myself.

I try to be honest and helpful, no doubt get it wrong a lot of the time.

I often type a reply then change my mind, rarely regret that either.

Did you try my trick for fixing your keyboard feet?

I've never written anything on AB that I wouldn't write in my own name, or be ashamed if someone found out I'd written it

In terms of advice that's true for me too, I used to be very open about myself and personal information but I'm very much less so now, however other than that, I wouldn't generally say anything on here I wouldn't say to someone's face.

I would absolutely never speak negatively about someone behind their back since, obviously, they'd recognise my voice...I would wait until they had left my presence.

Mamy- yes thank you! In the end I showed my friend the broken leg and he picked it up and just snapped it back in!! So it is possible to push back in if you have very strong hands!
