However it's not unusual for scriptwriters of soaps to omit characters for quite long periods, even when they're meant to be living with other active characters in the programmes. That's especially true where the complications of using child actors are involved. (There are some incredibly complex rules about employing child actors, especially when it interrupts their normal education).

We haven't seen Pria's daughter for ages. What happened to Amelia? Didn't Moira have a little boy?They all seem to have disappeared.Or have I just missed the episodes with them in.

Moira did mention taking her baby (Isaac) to daycare but poor Kyle has not even got a mention for ages now.
