USA Flights

Does anyone know the best time of year to book flights to the USA for July 2007? I know from booking flights in the past that prices can fluctuate alot depending on the time of year but just wondered if anyone has any experience as i am trying to look for the cheapest deal possible?

i think there is a time limit as to when you can book that far ahead,it used to be 300 days or something like that.

The time limit is 330 days Norman. Why don't they just make it a year?

you can book them now but on looking the prices are expensive.

I would guess there'll be a sale of some sort in the new year or February - I wouldn't leave it later than that.

emmillyR, try to stay away from planning your trip around the 4th of July,it's a huge holiday,as families/friends try to get together then...other than that, it is considered one of the months included in the height of summer travel,and could prove to be more expensive--just like anyplace else booked during one of those times of year. Other months which might be expensive are Winter (Nov.-Feb.) We've always found pretty good flight prices on Onetravel.com,you might check them out. By the way, I'm American living in Cardiff,Wales--I hope you have a great time in the US! There are loads of cool places to see besides the usual: NYC,Florida,California,Las Vegas..honestly. AND, your money will go further as the British Pound Sterling is worth almost twice as much as one US Dollar :) Ta
