Anyone noticed like me Danny Baldwin fom Coronation St will frequently use the charming phrase up your 'arris?

As a scot i'm curious as to which part of cockney rhyming slang 'arris would refer to.

I've tried to think of a few suggestions myself but none that make any sense!!!

My mum has asked me to try and find out for her!!!

I don't know for certain, but I would guess it is not cockney rhyming slang at all. I know it refers to the bottom, and I would imagine it is a (polite) corruption of that four letter word that begins with "a" and ends with "rse".

Cheers postdog i was thinking Arris as in tweed, or rolf etc.
