Anyone got experience ( good or bad ) of selling a car on ebay ?

I sell under the name of cyber-cars and have a couple of cars on at the moment. What do you need to know?

sold about 7 on ebay over the last few years,never had any trouble at all,but dont expect fortunes for them as its just like a auction,the cars are very cheap.

Make sure you get deposit through paypal then a cheque for the rest. I made the mistake of accpeting the whole fee through paypal the first time I did it - over a hundred quid commission to them - ouch!

I was gonna say ...don't use PayPal ...cash-on collection only.

PayPal will take a huge amount as AllYourBase states

I sold my old Sierra (well looked after GLS) on ebay last year, and got more than twice the price I had advertised it for in a local paper. Buyer arrived in four hours and paid cash.+++++
