Than gawd the wind has stopped blowing. Howled up here for 48hrs. Had a good look at the cards this morning, so surely can't be as abysmal as last weeks efforts were. I was hopeless. This week I have done three bets and can always do a cover bet on the later selections if needs be. Not going to bother with a footie bet so have diverted the stake.

Whilst scanning the cards earlier I noticed that Emma Lavelle had got runners entered in the first five races at Doncaster, a track that she does well at, and that Sam Twiston Davies was booked to ride them all. I had been waiting to see how the first went before having a punt but note that 2 of the runners have been scratched, making my mind up for me. So I have done.
