How many of you will be posting Christmas cards to relatives and friends this year? I've decided that I would rather donate the money to a charity than give it to the Royal Mail.

First Class stamp 65p and Second Class 56p.
Large First Class letter/card 98p and a large Second Class letter/card 76p.

I may sound rather bah humbug but it just seems ridiculous to me that you can buy a pack of cards for £1 but posting them is extortionate.

Will still give to close family and a few close friends but most will be hand delivered rather than posted apart from those for abroad.

Hellywelly I think you’re marvellous. More power to you.
I've got all my postal ones written - ready for the end of this week. However, I sent my int'l ones of Friday and there was an elderly woman in front of me buying 250 2nd class stamps........Gawd, the biggest number of cards that I have heard of in recent times....
Iam lucky only got a few relatives I send cards to,even less friends!!I can get away with a book of six stamps!!!!!!
I love the Christmas cards and get loads of pleasure writing and receiving them. I always send about 200 every year.
