He is undoubtedly a brilliant player but he appears to be leading a plan to lead a move to some sort of super league of snooker.This would probably leave 100 or so others with the crumbs.

Wanting a seeding system seems logical enough to me. It works well enough in tennis.

Breakaway movements are often good for their respective sports in the long run. Cricket is now vastly better off as a result of Kerry Packer creating World Series Cricket in 1977.

It won't happen. Players would have to opt out of the World Championship for a start. It's more a protest against the grinding schedule in snooker, that wears out the older stars. Ronnie loves to stir it and annoy Barry Hearn.

Much as I love Ronnie he can get too far up his own backside.
However, snooker would be very boring without him.
