Missing Backpacker

Just caught the lunchtime news on the radio and the police in New Zealand believe they have found the body of Grace Millane, the British backpacker, missing for eight days. Once again, i am left to wonder just how anyone can take another person's life, for whatever reason. Grace was just 22, very clever, and with a promising life ahead of her. A life needlessly ended. I can only imagine what her family must be going through in this darkest of times. My heart really goes out to them.

tinkerbell, that's my only question. WHY? Just why? I simply can't fathom it. Why would anyone do that? Why? What a nightmare.

There are many sick people out there, that's why.

He will of course have the best of everything from here on in including those who would treat him and release him back to the community, convinced of their ability to fix the unfixable.

I'd guess that they had very different ideas about how the evening would end.
Then the killer stupidity thought that he'd silence her.
A tragedy.

Its strange to me that apart from dumping her poor body, he hasnt really tried to cover up!?

Rented car! Hotel room! Something very weird.

Its hard to think of what to say as I usually say rest in peace.... dosent seem appropriate.

Really AWFUL.

I keep checking daily about the missing boy in Aberdeen too! 3 weeks now. X
