Scenario. BT or Openreach or whoever, installing new pole in street and reconnecting individual wires to houses. Person of one house, not stating if male or female to protect identity. Oh we haven’t got a phone it’s an old wire get rid of it. Later. Person phones partner who’s at work. Our internet and Skys not working. This is a true story.
