Hi all

I hope someone can help. I’ve put in a complaint about my GP and have yet to hear anything back (over 4 weeks) there is someone I can escalate my complaint to if I’m not happy with my GP’s handling of it but for the life of me I can’t remember what it’s called.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

The Practice Manager?
Question Author
It’s the practice manager I made the complaint to. Not heard a word from her since I made the complaint
'PALS' as mentioned are very good and helpful . I had to use them once. Successful outcome for me.
If you feel strongly enough about it use The Care Quality Comission, I've had to in past and they certainly get GP's on their toes.

Thanks all.

I think it was the CQC that I was advised to escalate it to. Just couldn’t think of them.

Again thanks for all the replies
Give them a chance to reply by reminding them
and perhaps also asking what their reply standards are.

if you have heard nothing at all - then try again

CQC pointing out you have heard zilch

and if it is about a doctor - GMC
nurse NMC

oh how I used to love them ! complaints
as a means to improve my practice standards ....
