I've just been re-watching this film, and wondered if anyone there agrees that it is one of the funniest films ever made.

I haven't watched it all the way through so can't comment.

My favourite funny film is Hot Fuzz and for slapstick it has to be most of the Laurel & Hardy films. Love them.

Yes, very funny. They recently had a screening of this in Derby Cathedral, which I thought was a fun thing to do.

Not the funniest film ever made imo, but I did enjoy it nonetheless. As someone on here has already mentioned, Weekend at Bernie's also made me laugh. Another film that made me laugh out loud was called Porky's, some really funny scenes in that, imo of course.

Originally I thought 'The Great Race' with Jack Lemon Peter Falk and Tony Curtis the funniest film I'd ever seen for slapstick.....

"The Wrong Box" - now you're talking funny. Actually my favourite film with the best character being Joseph Finsbury (played by Ralph Richardson) who had spent a lifetime "collecting facts". My favourite scene is the train crash where, among the carnage and debris from a violent, high speed head-on collision, driver John Junkin suggests to his fireman "I tell you what, we haven't heard the last of this!"
