Credit Card Payment Before Funds Hit Account
2 Answers
Hi all, I have a question - I have a DD for my credit card, which comes from my current account. I have a savings account, separate (offset mortgage) and I transfer the balance across from savings to current account just before I know my credit card balance (in full) is due to be debited. This month I have only just done this and the credit card balance is due tomorrow. It says the money from my savings will hit my account tomorrow, but what if my credit card company try to take the balance BEFORE my savings land; will they re-try later that same day? Or do they just try once, fail, then hit you with a no-payment fee?
