I had a dream when I had my weight loss operation nearly 2 years ago, and that was to start riding again.
Well today that dream became a reality when I visited a riding stables and after a hike and a poke and an interview the owner agreed to give me lessons.
I cannot wait for February.
Sorry I know this is probably of no interest to you but I had to share.

I wish my back/knees were up to riding again - it's the most wonderful feeling to be flying along on half-a-ton of horseflesh (even if it is only controlled by a brain the size of a walnut). One of my 'desert island memories' is riding in the surf at Woolacombe beach - when my horse lifted off and swam along parallel to the shore it was just magical.

That's really excellent news. You deserve to enjoy the fruits of your hard work over the last 2 years.

Here's hoping your mount is not a psycho *** bag who spends all day trying to think if new and inventive to kill you like my last nag.
That's wonderful news, RR xx
...and we want you to share.

walnut brain? What were you riding, dave?

I don't think he was talking about the horse...the rider controls the horse.

Talbot stop being a tit
Why don't you leave it to Sunny-D to decide if I'm being a tit.

He may not be as glum and see it as banter.
I deliberately set myself up for Talbot's tittering - I wasn't disappointed - and am never glum :)
Phew...Sonny isn't offended, I can sleep without any guilt tonight.
Horses head in the bed first?
Whatever turns you on ...
