For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Both of my dogs are rescued whilst one only had a few issues like not being brushed or his flank touched, the other my wee girl is still traumatised by her previous life, she won’t sleep beyond 430 she has to be with me if I’m in the house, she is terrified of the dark and silence, of white tubes and any loud noises.
If I ever got my hands on the farmer who had her prior to me I would give him a taste of his own medicine!

That is absolutely beautifully written and of course brought a tear to my eye ! All my dogs have been rescue, but none have been that traumatised, Bruno was probably the worst, but very soon became at ease with me and he was a lovely, gentle boy. I often wish I still had him. Always get 'rescue' I say.
