Ubasses, I hope Mr Ubasses is recuperating well. We have been blessed with some lovely sunny days and The Embankment is a charming place for a stroll.
It is beautiful down there, even more so when all the flowers are out in spring and summer. They do some wonderful displays.
Yes, thank you, Mr U is doing well, come on leaps and bounds in the last week and life is getting back to normal. Best bit is he got permission to drive this week, so I am no longer chauffeuring him everywhere.

Ubasses, the daffodils are on their way.

Best wishes to you and Mr U. Glad to hear that he is progressing nicely. Say hello next time you walk past us. We are the couple with the elderly, ploddy, standing staring little black Staffie.
So wonderful to see them, in the wild.
We had one last year who came into gardens at night and scoffed all the fish from ponds. Kept wondering where the fish were vanishing to, knew it was at night, then got together with other people in the village and rigged up a couple of night vision cameras. Beautiful otter having the time of his/her life and we now have a lot of empty ponds.
Are you sure they were otters, Tilly? They could have been mink.
