Brexit Aint Gonna Happen.

You heard it here first. Personally, I couldn't care less if we're in or we're out. Honest, but it seems to me that elected MP's don't want it to happen. That's my interpretation of the vote last week. They want to stay in Europe with Maggie May as the PM. And they voted for HER cos they don't want to risk being voted out of Parliament. Simples. Brexit aint gonna happen.

Yes, we know.
//Your entire argument seems based on ignoring this, and seems determined to make it look like the UK's money is the only thing keeping the EU together – and that, without it, they would fall. //
I didn’t say that ... I didn’t even hint at that … not a bit … not even vaguely...
// Perhaps that is a slight exaggeration, but only a slight one.//
No, Jim, it is not an exaggeration – not even a slight one. It is simply not true and there’s a word for statements that simply aren’t true. Your constant penchant for misrepresentation does you no favours, Jim. It becomes a ruse so familiar that it eventually obliges the sensible reader to question the validity of everything you say and to ask what more is a product of fantasy and spin? Bit like the bible really. Who, in all honesty, can claim it’s a book of truth when so many demonstrable discrepancies exist? That’s where I’m at with your posts, Jim. Waste of time.

If we all thought that way 10Clarion, what was the point of the last 2 World Wars that claimed so many lives. We fought for the right to vote, and millions died, but people like you, and my son just say “why bother?”
My son thought that way and I told him in no uncertain terms why he was so wrong.
It makes me So angry.
Sorry. Rant over.
