Hi I have a canon slr lens 28-200 from a 35mm slr camera. I want to buy a canon 350d and want to know if the lens will fit slr digital cameras...thanks

Yes I think it will; note though that it won't be a 28-200 however, it'll be slightly different. (sorry I forget how different).

If it is an EF, EF-S and/ or EOS lens then you are laughing.
Virtually all canon lenses fit newer digitals so you'll be alright i reckon.
As fo3nix points out you will lose a little bit at the widest angle due to what is called 1.6 crop factor so dont expect exactly the same results you had with your film camera.

it is a canon EOS but is not a canon lens..think the brand is sigma...would this still work?
Some of the Sigma lenses dont work with newer digital cameras but generally they do.
I wouldnt want to commit myself and i suggest the best thing to do is to go to your local camera shop and try it out on a 350D body just to make sure.
I'm afraid the best answer i can give is that "some do, some dont!".
