Afterlife or no Afterlife???

Can anyone tell me why ITV1 would advertise they are repeating this series, show the first episode, and then not bother with the rest? It wasnt on sunday night and according to my TV guide (my mum....) its not on this coming sunday!!!

I know banana has already posted this but im a bit peeved!!!

aw you're kidding? I loved Afterlife and watched the repeat of the first one hoping that they were repeating it because the new series was starting. Thats very strange

I understand that it was not a ratings winner in this timeslot and as ITV have been having a bad summer with record low vieiwing figures, they are getting desperate and messing around with the schedules.

I agree though, its a great program, although I saw this series the first time around and am awaiting for series 3 next month.

I heard on the news that a young girl had gone missing, and as that was the subject of that episode, perhaps they decided that it would insensitive to screen it that night?

No definately 2 series made so far, with series 3 due next month so I understand.

Sorry to confuse you, your quite correct in that only the first series has been shown with series 2 starting Sept 18th.

I was getting confused with that other similar program Sea of Souls (which has had 2 series shown so far).

Either way, i'm looking forward to watching it when it starts and you have me wondering if there is going to be a series 3 of the other program I mentioned.

Ah I see lol (phew, thought I had missed it) Sea of Souls is great as well, hope there is another series of that soon.
