re-sizing an image

Can anyone suggest a way of reducing an image in size. I have an image which is about 600 pixels square, and I need to reduce it to 100 pixels square.

I've tried using "Paint", but, following the Help instructions (through image, attributes etc) actually crops the picture instead of reducing it in size - i.e I lose most of the picture.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I find this excellent for resizing - it keeps the 'scale' whilst making the picture smaller.

Hi, I always use Excel.

Click insert, chose picture, from file, insert the picture, right click on picture, click format picture, click size.

Easy as ABC.

Don't know which version of Windows you are using but try right clicking on the photo and choose 'Open With..' then choose Microsoft Photo Editor (if the picture doesn't already open in this by default double clicking). This allows you to rsize the picture and then save it.
