I have one answer to find in a set of 40 and after racking my brains I can't come up with anything so here goes:-
The answer is 6 and four letters - two words both of which start with F.
The clue is Col.
Make of that what you will because I am completely stymied.

Aside from being a mountain pass, Col is an abbreviation of Colonel. Colonel Sanders founded the KFC franchise and i wonder if the answer could be Frozen Food?

Maybe, but as a clue i would have thought Capt (Birds Eye) for Finger Food?

You have both given me food for thought(sorry!!!) and gone in a different direction to me though i had been looking Colonels' names up on the internet.Can't decide yet so going to keep this open at the moment.Thanks for all your help and i'll be back to check further if I get more replies.It is a random answer quiz.

Thank you all ,I have accepted finger food because I put KFC finger food on to the internet and it came up mentioning "the colonel" and showing pictures of finger foods so fingers crossed that's it.
I had looked at the colonel option but I honestly don't think I would have solved it without you all.Thank you.

It certainly is Tilly.I have now completed the quiz but got to answers the same(one of them being this one so I'm having to start again and see if I can solve one of them.
