Sounds like you are in quite a dark place at the moment Robby. How would you feel about speaking to your doctor again? Do you think you maybe stopped taking your pills too soon? Sometimes you need to be on them long term. Good luck whatever you decide to do.
Please listen to all the advice given here, Robby. If you have no one close that you can talk to, please keep conversing on AB
This is a good first step, just by talking about it. Please go back to your Doctor and tell him everything. He'll probably try you on a different type of AD. Hopefully, in time, you'll start to think more positively and get your life back on track. You are special. You are worth it. Best wishes..
I have tried to stop my pills tonight the depression comes back. It's because some types of depression are caused as some of the happiness chemicals healthy people produce get mopped up too quickly by the body. This means I will always need them. It's like a diabetic needs insulin. Are you sure you are not confusing tiredness with normal calmness when you take them. I feel full of energy when I stop then I crash really low. It might mean you need a different type it can take a while til you find one that works. The tiredness also gets better with exercise especially combined with music.
Don't do anything silly, tell your gp the truth and take any help you are offered.

Listen to your body too, and maybe don't expect too much too soon it has taken a lot of different meds, a lot of therapy and a gym membership to get me to where I smile more than I feel sad, and can feel I am worth loving and respecting. You can get there but it takes effort. It's worth it and so are you.
