Second Referendum Question
'German comedian Henning Wehn made a number of surprisingly sensible points on Question Time on Thursday night, pointing out the utter futility of holding yet another referendum. He was a refreshing change from the usual ‘woke comedian’ bores, he said;
“If two years ago you felt that the country is run by unelected European Union bureaucrats, well I don’t know what would have changed your opinion on that one over the past two years!”'
An excellent point, would you not agree?

I have noticed, however, that many (most?) members do not feel constrained by the original question, but digress and discuss points raised by others.
This was what I did, and I thought I had explained that in my comment about someone else posting what looked like a school project as evidence, and that I was simply following suit.
I have looked again at your original post and now recognise that I was an idiot not to see how EU relationships with the US, Israel and Arab nations were front and centre of your question.
Shall we agree, you and I, not to post anything in the future that does not address the original question or moves it in a different direction?
In the spirit of our new accord, and within the limits now imposed, no.

bainbrig, jf85, et al;
How is it that the Remain camp are so consistently let off the hook about the state of the EU – the EU that they would keep Britain shackled to; why is this never part of the Brexit debate; why are avid Remainers never interrogated on the failing project they are so eager to promote, and why is there no Project Fear when it comes to the economic and political perils for the UK of remaining within its suffocating embrace?

Right, it’s NOT a failing project.
Like British democracy (and for that matter the justice system), The Project could be improved! Over-paid bureaucrats offend ALL of us.
But a fairly efficient, peaceful trading union is something we see as worth preserving (and improving). (Plus we quite like living alongside ‘Johnny Foreigner’.)
