I ate at Leith's in Mayfair many decades ago, the first trip to the Big Smoke with the parental units and also the first really decent restaurant that I had eaten in. Still remember it, not least she had those chrome and 'wicker-weave' seats and if you pushed back on them, they went flying over the tiled floor.
I love it when older people don't act their age....ie conform to what many would expect. She's 79 and does't act/look it and much better than ubiquitoous Mary Berry (who has yet another new series starting next week. Yawn.)
