Television Misbehaving

Our television keeps turning itself off.only started this evening. When it turns itself on again a little globe appears in top left corner and then it goes off. Couod we have pushed something we should not have ?

It may well suggest that you need to update your firmware .. check in your settings for updates.
A re-tune being needed could also cause the 'globe'.

Have just retuned the television and all seems well now - fingers crossed ! Many thanks for your help

How strange. Our television is doing the same and it started yesterday. It is also a JVC set. Will get one of the children to retune it
(I,m 'oldish' and these things baffle me) and hope I have same success as you've had.

A couple of new channels have appeared in the past month or so .. Dmax and Smithsonian. The globe may well be a pointer that it's time to re-tune.
