Don't know about libreoffice, but I've been using the free OpenOffice for many years, and thoroughly recommend it:

Libre means free and it is....a donation is just that, voluntary.

ginge - I understand donation but then there was nowhere on the site for me to sorta move on.

I am on ABIword and it has been good too - has done me - but just wondered if other packages could be better.
