Is anyone watching this drama series? Finally caught up with Tuesday's episode last night. Talk about edge of seat, roll on Tues for what I think will be the final part.
I'm following it. Everything about it is very well done: acting; stunts; dialogue; not that I'm an expert, of course, but everyone who's taking part deserves high praise for presenting a really good story.
Over half way through reading Wild Fire, very good, should make a good TV programme. The TV series has changed the time scale regarding Cassie, his 'daughter' but they're still brilliant, no-one fits his book image as well as Douglas Henshall!
Agree that it's very cleverly done, and draws you in with interesting, characters you care about - unlike many many other TV dramas recently that I could mention (MotherFatherSon, anyone?). Just a bit of a shame that there are so few Shetland accents: only Steven Robertson of the main characters has one. It's a very particular accent, and I'd imagine difficult to master - Robertson was born in Shetland, though
