How possible is it that the dogs are wrong!?

Is there anything that could be mistaken for the scent of a dead body/blood? X

they said the dogs could detect the scent of a dead human if the human had died ten years ago, and the scene was washed and if the body was only there, buried or not, for moments and then moved (cleaned)

So explain to me how only months later the dog found a microscopic sample in the boot of a hire car they rented a month after her disappearance?

Look in reality there are billions of possibilities for her disappearance but there are 5 most likely.

-They sold her
-they murdered her accidentally or not
-Madeleine ran away / went to look for the parents then went missing / took
-the portuguese police are involved (all tiers)
-she was abducted

they sold her - murdered

So why have they pumped the case full of money if they sold her and needed / wanted money? also, why would they pump so much money into a case that would lead back to them? This also debunks the murdered theory.

Ran away / went to look for the parents

if this was the case then there would be so much more awareness of the timeline and occurrence, more people would have seen something / heard something it's just not likely for a 3 year old to do that..

police are involved?

Well in which case you're discrediting the entire metropolitan police and the private investigators as well. In my opinion, that's too silly to even amuse

she got abducted?

Yes very probable. I can't see any reason why she wouldn't have been, given the opportunity and location.
I think inept Portuguese police and the public (understandably) looking everywhere and unintentionally trampling any evidence didn't help. I have always thought abduction is most likely, although to be fair, the series was also very weighted that way.

Made it to post 12, before finding out what the thread is about,

She was supposed to look everywhere, but not react unless she actually found something. I'm not sure the link shows the same as they showed on the programme... or do you mean the documentary went in all directions? :-) Fair enough... it was fairly well balanced, but obviously has to be careful in what it suggests.
The documentary :)
Ah :-). Yes, I think they covered all of the theories and conspiracies that I had heard about. It's just awful to really know nothing at all about what happened.
