Football In The Garden

Being plagued by neighbors children playing football in their garden. The problem is they play football against their own garage door making a constant thudding. Until of course the ball is kicked into our garden constantly.There is a recreational ground across the road with football nets but seemingly this isnt good enough. Have spoken ti the parent but she would rather play on the drive. She says I must return the ball because its their property. Any suggestions to do next? Climbed onto the garage yesterday to get into our garden.

My late father in law just stuck a knife in any balls that landed in his garden. Drastic but it worked.

This doesn't work for everybody but worked for me. The ball came into my garden about twenty times a day and annoyingly the entire "team" came in after it, breaking down trellis and garden urns. I told the Parents that I would return the ball but in a weeks time. They soon got the message.

sadly so many of the balls that used to come (deliberately) into my garden used to get trashed by the dogs before I could get to them.

Sounds like , they could be trashed in future . Why cant they be reasonable and use the rec' across the way? Thankyou.

If reasonable requests are not effective, then you are best to bring the balls indoors and not give them back. Eventually they will run out of footballs and hopefully get fed up with buying new ones.
