Of course the root cause of this nonsense is once again the ridiculous "devolution" arrangements which were, in the main, introduced by Mr Blair. The NHS is funded principally from central taxation. UK citizens contribute to the UK's NHS, not a Welsh one, nor an English one. It should be available to use for all those who have contributed wherever they wish across the country.

"Wales has its own share of the NHS budget , which is for treatment of Welsh residents only."
Yes I know that, Eddie. So with that in mind they can hardly complain if England restricts its budget spend to English residents only. Which means someone living close to the border is prevented from using facilities which may be close by and to the running of which they may have contributed. The folly of devolution laid bare for all to see.

yeah I thought about welsh for 'are you welsh?'
but I cant do with mutations and I am not sure if goggle does either
(initial vowel in a sentence dictates the vowels in the rest of the words of the sentence)
sorry sorry very technical point - completely unsuitable for sat evg AB
oh the shower reference - gnit gnit gnit is a
filmic reference to a film by Hitchcock - often referred to as 'Sicko' on AB probably because it is ( sick)

Peter - did you write your essays at Gonville and Caius in the 'amusing' gobbledegook you invariably use on AB? I'm sure not: you wouldn't have lasted long.
It really is tedious and unfunny, and for an obviously intelligent bloke with interesting and knowledgable things to say, you do yourself no favours writing in this way.
You could start by trying proper sentences with capital letters at the beginning - you might find you like it, and that more people take notice of what you have to say.
