We're going to the Moto GP next month and camping on the Saturday and Sunday night. We've got the tent now but I've never been camping before and have literally no idea of what other things we will need, other then a sleeping bag. So I'm after a list of all the things we will need for a couple of days under the stars.

The camp site has facilities but I need to know every other thing I should and shouldn't bother with buying. Thanks!

a small bucket to pee in if your far from the toilets, is a must. we've never gone away without one!
A 4pt plastic milk bottle is better than a bucket. Chop the top off leaving the handle uncut, & it can be used by both sexes.
carrust, have you tried that without falling over? 4pt bottle lol ---female?
My missus manages it LOL

There are some tips that you can consider, for example- take maps and compass, first-aid kits, tarps, and ropes, etc. and I would advise to camp close to your house. in case of emergency, you will feel safe.

Well. In this circumstance, everyone should maintain some basic points like exactly what you use every day and exactly what you feel like your essentials need to be. Just pack them in your backpack and make sure to have a good quality tent because it is a must in order for you to have a great night's rest.
