hair extentions

Please help my daughter someone, she has bought strip hair extentions and when she bought them she was told to also buy this tar like glue stuff to put them in with, this was a week ago they started to come out but its left the tar behinde in her hair and on her scalp, her hair is now all matted up and we cant get the bloody stuff out, i cant go back to the shop where they sold them to her as we live in Kent and this was in middlesex in a so called hair and beauty salon. What the hell can we use. Please someone help!!!!!

try soaking her head in hot water...as hot as she can handle...and then pick it out. Tell her at least its the summer holidays!

sounds harsh but you should be able to get some sort of glue solvent, nail polish remover might even work

the product you should use is pure acetone. It is like nail polish remover. Put the acetone on cotton wool and hold it on the glue, this will soften the glue. Shampoo the hair and then use a good hot oil treatment to restore the hairs condtion. I hope this helps
