My daughter is a teacher and is due to accompany a party of S3/4 pupils to China in June this year. Is there any advice you can give her regarding what to expect, Some meals are provided but the rest will need to be bought, so any info which would assist would be appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation.

What I'm looking for is information from people who've done this and have come across any situations that they hadn't anticipated or been made aware of like WiFi access or any local customs etc...
Wifi access is good and speeds are fast. Facebook is restricted though.

they're staying in a hostel.
For the students (and staff I suppose) kissing in public and other PDAs are generally frowned upon.
My recollection is that your party may well get lots of attention from fascinated locals
