Weird Pain

A few days ago I got a pain in the right side of my chest- kind of top of boob but a bit more central. It doesn’t hurt much unless I cough or try and exert/ sit up from lying down. I have had Costochondritis a few times before but that usually goes away after one day. This is day three with no improvement. I saw a doc yesterday who said take ibuprofen. Any idea what it could be? I have had a cough for a long time - several weeks, but it got better about a week ago.

I think that costochondritis is a good shout and I agree with your Dr re your treatment.

it is going around as a variant of the flu stuff making its rounds

2 or 3 members of the family have had it - I thought it was a cough gracture
